Kindergarten Graduation

Annika's Kindergarten graduation was on Wednesday. They had a cute ceremony where each student went up front to get their certificate and posed for a picture with the teacher.

Annika is excited for 1st grade! What could be better - getting to eat lunch at school, getting to hang out with your friends all day, PE, art, dance and music classes!

Can't wait to have some!

Sunny Nap

We had a brief moment of sunshine a few days ago, so Rob and Annika took advantage of it!

Steven's Band Concert

Steven's Band Concert was last night, and his band teacher said that this group of 6th graders made the fastest progress of any group he's ever taught. They finished their practice book by December and have been working on sheet music.

They performed "Cave Man Gets A Haircut," "When the Saints Go Marching In," "Sousa Spectactular," and "Let's Go Band."

Annika's first piano recital

Annika's first piano recital was last Friday, and she had a fun time! Click here to watch her songs on YouTube - the video is less than 3 minutes long.

Annika got to pick which songs she would play, except for the first song. Her piano teacher wanted her to play that first song because Annika likes to dance to the beat while she plays it!

I'm not sure where the idea came from to curtsy, but it was cute!
