Steven is a TEENAGER!

Yesterday was Steven's 13th birthday. He thought about asking for "skipping school today" as his birthday present, but decided that would be a waste of a present, so he went to school.

Here are a couple of the things that Steven got for his birthday...a clock radio/charger for his iPod and Mario Kart for the Wii!

Annika is our luckiest child

Annika's Hamilton grandparents gave her a fish for Christmas! She is so excited about her first pet.

First, Annika put rocks in the tank (Annika chose the prettiest rocks in the store):

Then she added the plant and plastic turtle:

Finally, time to put her betta fish, Buster, in his tank.

Buster looks lonely, so he may be getting a girlfriend soon...

Rachel & Rob's wedding

Since we were lame and didn't take pictures, here are a few borrowed from Katie's facebook:

Annika and Meagan had a fun time twirling their skirts.

I think this was the first time Julia ever had a bouquet thrown in her direction. She wasn't too interested in catching it, though.

Here's Steven in his wedding tie.

I hope Julia doesn't see this!

Letter from Clark College, dated 12/29/08:

Dear Julia,

I am pleased to let you know that you have received recognition on the Vice President's list, which is one of the highest academic honors Clark College can bestow. Only those students who earn at least a 3.75 grade point average for the quarter while carrying a minimum of 12 credits of graded coursework are eligible. Your efforts place you in the top 5% of the 11,048 students enrolled at Clark College during Fall Quarter 2008. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my personal congratulations for this academic honor.

Sincerely,
R. Dastmozd, Ph.D.
Clark College Vice President
